About

Welcome To My Website!

My name is Tania Tachhnim, and I am currently a graduate student pursuing a Master's in Biological Science. Originally from Bangladesh, I completed both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in plant biology from there. Now I am doing my second master’s in biology at CSU Chico focusing on microbial world. I would like to develop excellent research and analytical abilities through my academic career.

Now I am working under the direct supervision of my advisor Dr. Kati Geszvain. My research project is to investigate how the response regulator in Pseudomonas putida GB1 controls manganese oxidation. My long-term goal is to become a dedicated educator in biological sciences.
